Biography

Professor Carlos is General Coordinator at UDIBI, he graduated as Veterinary Zootechnician at the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico, where he was involved in companion animal medicine and surgery, in addition to the development and implementation of molecular biology techniques and animal manipulation. mouse embryonic stem cells for the production of chimeric mice, completed his Master’s Degree in Genomic Biotechnology at the IPN Center for Biotechnology in Genomics, has completed doctoral studies at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. Carlos worked in R&D in the pharmaceutical industry for more than 5 years and has extensive experience in the validation and transfer of analytical methods from R&D to quality control for the physicochemical, structural and functional characterization of therapeutic proteins with 5 years of experience within the UDIBI. He is also a specialist in the preparation of technical-regulatory documents for submission to the Mexican regulatory agency for drug registration. He has published over 15 articles in peer-reviewed journals primarily describing critical quality attributes of biopharmaceuticals and their impact on functionality.
