Libraries
Our platforms, called ALTHEA (from the Greek ‘healing’), consist of a family of semi-synthetic human antibody fragment phage display libraries.
The first version, ALTHEA Gold Libraries™, was developed in Mexico through a collaborative effort between GlobalBio Inc. and UDIBI in 2018.
From our initial design, we generated a family of 5 ALTHEA libraries built with various genes and antibody fragment formats.

ALTHEA Libraries™ was built using a unique three-step process:
primary synthesis, thermal selection, and addition of natural diversity.
This process was specifically designed to increase the diversity and functionality of our libraries.
The ALTHEA Libraries ™ family has allowed us to develop a portfolio of innovative Mexican antibodies and provide discovery services to various companies in Mexico and the United States.
We can generate antibodies against any target!
The innovative antibodies generated using ALTHEA libraries ™M are highly specific, capable of recognizing their antigen at subnanomolar concentrations, and stable, ensuring their functionality in various applications.
