Biography
M in Sc. Juana del Rosario obtained her bachelor’s degree as a Bacteriologist Parasitologist and her master’s degree in Biomedicine and Molecular Biotechnology from the National School of Biological Sciences at the National Polytechnic Institute. She has 7 scientific publications in indexed journals, has supervised two bachelor’s theses at the IPN, and has been a laboratory professor of Virology and General Microbiology for the programs of Bacteriologist Parasitologist, Industrial Pharmaceutical Chemist, and Biochemical Engineer. She is a full member of the Mexican Society of Virology. As part of her professional experience, she has managed various cell lines, handled different viruses, isolated and identified viruses, standardized and validated viral quantification methods, as well as established processes with biosecurity implications and their risk analyses.
