Biography
Dr. Edith González holds the positions of Head of Authorized Third Party for Biocomparability and Head of Cultivation and Microbiology at UDIBI.
She studied for a degree in Bacteriological Parasitology at the National School of Biological Sciences of the National Polytechnic Institute and later completed her Master’s and Doctorate in Immunology at the same institution. She also undertook a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the Biomedical Research Unit (UBIMED) of the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
She has supervised 7 undergraduate theses and 1 master’s thesis at UNAM and IPN in Mexico, as well as at Francisco de Paula Santander University in Colombia. She has 11 publications in indexed and peer-reviewed international journals.
Her work experience includes the development, validation, and implementation of in vitro and in vivo bioassays for evaluating the potency of biotherapeutic products in biocomparability studies, as well as the development and implementation of new methodologies for the discovery, development, and characterization of therapeutic antibodies from 2015 to the present.
