Dr. Alejandra Tenorio joined UDIBI in 2014 from a clinical research CRO where she was the regulatory start-up specialist. Dr. Alejandra completed her PhD in Biomedical Sciences at Instituto Politecnico Nacional and spent several years as regulatory study coordinator in clinical research. Dr. Alejandra joined UDIBI as Quality Assurance Manager, at this position she improved the collaboration with the team to get the authorization as a Third Party Laboratory. Currently, Dr. Alejandra is the Operations Director at UDIBI in charge of the project management, customer services and financial proposals.

Dr. Alejandra has experience in the development of vaccine candidates, collaborating in the R&D of a typhoid fever vaccine. Furthermore, Dr. Alejandra co-founded the Mexico Centre for Clinical Research in 2011, where she worked on major clinical trials projects getting a strong background on ICH standards and the operations for clinical trials. Recently, Dr. Alejandra has specialized in the quality assurance for non-clinical studies according the OECD Good Laboratory Practice.

Dr. Alejandra has published 4 articles in peer-reviewed journals and collaborates with Mexican MoH (COFEPRIS) in the review process of biopharmaceuticals as Alternate Member in the Biopharmaceutical Products Review Subcommittee.
